Highly attuned is a more accurate description of the Highly Sensitive Person. High attunement is a neurological trait and variation in temperament. It’s not a disorder; it makes one unusually perceptive and responsive, especially to subtle environmental and social stimuli.
It is present in about 20% of the population and over 100 other species. This means that your brain processes more of all stimuli. More mirror neuron activation exists for empathy, self-awareness, emotional meaning, higher-order cognitive processing, decision-making, and complex cognitive tasks.
Being highly attuned can be overwhelming because so much information is being processed. This can make us feel unclear, overwhelmed, anxious, and stressed. HSP mentoring uses Brainspotting to release emotional overload and accelerates emotional and physical healing, which is particularly beneficial for those experiencing dysregulation.
Brainspotting uses visual points to access and process distress stored in the body. Brainspotting supports the regulation of your nervous system and helps calm panic, fear, and complicated or overwhelming emotions such as anger, grief, shame, and guilt.
Brainspotting features various applications, ranging from anxiety and trauma to grief, loss, and stress management
It harnesses your body's natural self-healing ability to dismantle limiting beliefs and negative cognitions at the subconscious level.
Sessions result in feelings of relief and changes in thoughts and behaviors, as well as new insight.
With Brainspotting, you don't have to discuss the details of painful material, making it a particularly gentle way to accelerate your transformation.
Some relationships, events, emotions, or experiences may cause anxiety or make it worse. These are called anxiety triggers. They are different for each person, but many triggers are common among people with anxiety. Most people find they have multiple triggers.
Sometimes, anxiety can appear to be triggered for no reason at all. Usually, there is a trigger, but it is beyond the conscious awareness. I will help you identify triggers and use brainspotting to help you regulate around them.
We use brainspotting and other modalities to regulate your system naturally, address triggers, release subconscious resistance, and address your root causes.
