Brainspotting Therapy taps into your body's innate healing ability to release distress, trauma, outdated patterns, and coping strategies that no longer serve you. As you give your system time to process, regulate, and resolve your concerns, you notice that you are showing up differently—in a good way.
Brainspotting accesses stored and deeply held distress, which is then safely processed and desensitized. Identifying and healing the underlying traumas that contribute to anxiety, depression, and other behavioral or physical conditions significantly expedites the therapeutic process and accelerates transformation.
Brainspotting uses your body as a source of information and awareness. It helps calm panic, fear, anger, grief, shame, and guilt. It dismantles limiting beliefs and negative thoughts at the subconscious level. These sessions give you deeper access to your inner wisdom and clarity, resulting in feelings of relief, changes in thoughts and behaviors, and new insights.
In addition to Brainspotting, our sessions may include Hakomi, Emotional Freedom Technique, parts work, somatic awareness, and mindful presence as part of the process.
Neuro-somatic Coaching is a form of coaching that integrates insights from neuroscience and somatic awareness to promote emotional and physical well-being. It emphasizes the body-mind connection and encourages clients to connect with their physical sensations to address emotional challenges and facilitate healing.
Emotional Freedom Technique, commonly called “tapping,” EFT, is a somatic approach to facilitating change that integrates Eastern and Western perspectives. It leverages the Chinese meridian system by using fingertips to tap different acupressure points on the body. Tapping helps us regulate anxiety, release emotional overload, and accelerate our emotional and physical healing. Best of all, tapping is a technique you can learn and use as part of your regular self-care self-regulating practice.
I offer a therapeutic coaching relationship that helps you connect with your inner resources, calm, and wisdom. I frame our work together by listening carefully and attuning to your subtle energies, physical body, emotions, and microexpressions.
